Elba Island's Climate
The climate on Elba is typical of most marine climates, boasting mild weather even throughout the winter period.
In summer rains are rather irregular and there are often long dry periods.

The south-westerly gales carry out an homogenization and dissemination function. These south-western gales are probably the cause of the spread in Capraia Island of some typical species of vegetation characterizing Sardinian natural populations.
